During the time frame that I trained with Guro Inosanto he was a student of many silat systems. Most of his masters did not want the public to see some of the more advance parts of these arts. Guro Dan, to fill in the blanks would mix the silat he was allowed to show with his Kali. In the early 80’s, the art he taught was called Sikal. Today Dan not only teaches the complete systems of these arts but still will blend them together. The term use today by Inosanto is Maphilindo Silat. The Youtube video demonstates Inosantos Silat.
